Thursday -- Long-awaited Nepal

Kristina wrote that after two years, she is happy to finally have the opportunity to be in Nepal and see everything with her own eye. God is blessing their time there, and now the fourth day is drawing to a close. They enjoyed seeing the children's bright eyes and smiles when they met the team. They saw how happy the children were to receive even a small gift. The important thing was that it was done with love.

They met an amazing woman full of faith and trust in God and love and care for others. Although she has been through many hardships and sufferings in life, she has remained faithful to God. She shared her testimony of how God called her into the ministry at the age of 20, and for 37 years now, she has been serving the people of Nepal. A true hero of the faith!

As soon as they arrived, Kristina was to lead a seminar on worship. Church leaders traveled up to 20 hours (in mountainous regions) to gather together for a week of encouragement, seminars, and reporting. Before the worship seminar started, they sang and prayed. When Kristina heard them, she wondered what she had to offer them, but she realized that they needed encouragement more than teaching. God blessed her as she spoke in English, and the people were grateful for what they heard.

After the seminar, the team went to a Christian school to do handcrafts with the children. They noticed how the children pray together after the lessons and before leaving the school territory to get on the bus.

They had a special dinner that evening, but even better than the good food was the fellowship they enjoyed with the "grandmother" there, hearing her stories and testimonies.

Please continue to pray for health and strength for the team. Kristina wasn't feeling good that first evening but seems to be better now. Pastor Pavel led another 4-hour family seminar today, with 150 church leaders in attendance. They appreciate your prayers!
